Even though I decided to quit the PhD - I can totally relate to all that... I also loved the video as always. Congrats on getting it done my friend, and publishing the paper!

I also didn't know about the physics background - so cool that you did ML and CV in the physics master's!

What would you say is the best thing you've got out of the youtube channel yet? Vs. the countless hours put into it during a phd? haha As you said, there's the obvious bigger network and practice behind teaching and how you put your ideas together + present them, which has immense value, but would you have any other highlight from it as of now? :)

Haha, should there anything more to YouTube? That’s a tough one! I guess it’s cool that more people know me, which sometimes leads to job offers and sponsorships. But honestly, I’m still figuring out what more I should make of it.

What about you? What’s been the biggest highlight from YouTube for you? Your startup or something else? I mean, you quit your PhD but wrote a book, so, you still produced the outcome of a PhD in a sense. 😅

Haha kind of! I think it’s definitely the opportunity to meet with interesting people and further transform this into a company for sure in my end. Travels and events are also a fantastic advantage! Going to NeurIPS again this year and it will be the first time not as a student, but I’m stuff just as excited! :)
